Introduction About the College

Mysore Medical College Mysore (MMC Mysore) is an autonomous institution of Government of Karnataka. One of the oldest and most reputed government medical colleges in Karnataka, Mysore Medical College offers undergraduate – MBBS Course as well as postgraduate – MD , MS & Diploma Courses for aspirants seeking medical admission. This government medical college has well developed infrastructure for imparting medical education to its students. The major facilities available within the campus include Library, Laboratories, Auditorium, Lecture Halls, Hostel, Canteen, etc. The medical college is attached to four hospitals which provides clinical learning environment for the students.

Admission to MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma Course at Mysore Medical College (MMC Mysore) takes place through KEA/NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). Students who qualify in the medical entrance exam can secure a seat through merit.

Admission Process

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission.
  • The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th std. or equivalent exam with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY as subjects of study and ENGLISH as one of the languages of study.
  • The candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group and 40% in the case of SC / ST / Category.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

KARNATAKA DOMICILE

The domicile students of Karnataka can seek MBBS admission in Mysore Medical College through K-CET Entrance Exam. K-CET Admission Process

NON-KARNATAKA APPLICANTS

The Non-Karnataka candidates can seek MBBS admission in Mysore Medical College through AIPMT entrance exam. AIPMT Admission Process

Note: Even Karnataka students can seek MBBS admission through AIPMT.

NRI CANDIDATES

FOREIGN CANDIDATES

MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSION
